Perfect conversation for Ettyville.

What's the mescal available at the licbo? Dous Dous slurped that stuff like Bee all over a waffle cone in July.

Either way, tequila of all discerning stripes is suitably homagey to the Dous, and is heartily endorsed by the MWH. Go way big!

I haven't done as much studying when it comes to mescal, but I will ask around and have a look.

You can count another new (and local) player in for the action! Jeff Lewis, who some of you met at the Shire last Wed, will be there for his first tournament. Sign him up for AM2.

Can he pay at the event or should he organize a method of payment before the event to solidify his spot?

Bienvenue Monarch!

We welcome new players with open arms and open beverages!

How to sign up? You just did! I'll put you on the AM2 list, but can you give me your name so I can fill out your registration card?

When to get there? Anytime Friday, the course is open for practice, and the early birds get the best camping spots!

How much? It's $90 for the tournament and camping, and if you want in on the big saturday night beef dinner extravaganza, it'll be $15 more.

You can either pay cash when you register on Friday; or you can paypal Rob "Twirly" Wormald, or you can pay by credit card over the phone to the same person.

Again, welcome, and get ready for the rockin times!

Sign up KrazzzyK for women's division. (name in your PM)

I can also say now that I am officially coming this weekend! Phew! That was an anxious wait and will also be in for the beef extravaganza.

One correction. I'll be playing AM1 not 2. Wouldn't be right off me to go beat up on the host's division as much as I want my first tournament win.

I'll be paying for us both on Friday although she will be coming Saturday morning (what time does this shindig start on Saturday? (and don't say Friday, I need hard and concrete info here!)

Can't wait for my first OD stop... the fact that I know how great Ettyville is only makes me more excited!

Cheerio!

I will bring cash to the shire on Wednesday to pay up.

Rob, are you collecting for both the golf/camping fees and the beef dinner?

Camping is included in the 90.

You can pay Twirly or Pytel for the beef dinner.

If people could pay the whole clip (including beef) when they do pay that'd be awesome. I don't want to have to collect from 50 people of Friday/Saturday as I'll be 2 busy.

Much appreciated.

Ottawa representing...

Axelfudge... Play the division you feel is right. Talk to Twirly or somebody who can tell you where you belong. I'll be back of the bus AM2 if I play.

Course is coming together with mowing and all. TOSS should be good this week.

Alright, for the tequila and mescal fans out there:

There are only two mescals listed in the LCBo right now: http://lcbo.com/lcbo-ear/lcbo/product/details.do?language=EN&itemNumber=169417 and http://lcbo.com/lcbo-ear/lcbo/product/details.do?language=EN&itemNumber=47464
The SAQ and New Brunswick (long story) sites don't have anything listed.

I can't really tell you about either of them, since I'm not really a mescal drinker, and I've been told that to do a proper tasting I'll have to actually go to Mexico.

For tequila, I've been recommended the Dos Coronas 55th Anniversary Reposado. I've had it, but not side by side with any other tequilas. In any event, it was good, and it's $53 compared to the Patron silver, which is $76, it's a steal.

Before I get way to into this, here are the links (so you can see where you can buy them) to the two products:

Dos Coronas:

Patron:

Awesome, thanks for the info! Hopefully I can find the Dos Coronas in the Duty Free shop here. If it's $50 at the LCBO, it should be really cheap here. I might have to grab two bottles. being evil

Sweet, pretty sure AM1 will suit me right...

But if Twirly thinks otherwise???

"If I play"??? Are you saying to me the host with the most might not play???

Only days left!

I'd hate to see a good camp go dry.
