Prizes...unreal -- Got myself a Feldberg signed one !
Alternate / new tee's...refreshing for Kanata , good thinking !!
...That blue fence played games with everybody's head all day !! Nice...curious ( not JCP curious ) to see how many shots were lost to the fence.
And no OPU's....

Oh glorious sleep, but we must all wake up again at some point!
Many thanks to all the players and sponsors who helped to make the Ice Bowl and our Ice Auction happen.
- Rod Nicholls, who handles our Bars and Stars program which brings in more food and cash to our event
- Dean Aelick, Top Notch Toys
- Geoff Penton, our auctioneer extrordinaire of the Ice Auction
- Geoff Rowland, the donor and manufacturer of our "trophies"
- Rob Wormald, Ultimate Disc Golf Store
- Eric Vinet, who raised $ at work and then purchased the heaviest boxes of food I've ever had to lift to my car
- The Honest Lawyer & its staff who raised funds for us
- Bridgehead
- The Clock Tower
- Irene's Pub
- McCrank's Cycles
- PDGA Canada
- The Roost
- The Works
- The players from Montreal and Sudbury who helped make our event a lot more fun

Many thanks as well to Peter Tilley, the Executive Director of the Ottawa Food Bank, who again came out to our event to focus our attention on what its all about - the charity and the people it helps to serve in our community.
Results will be up this evening, but a big shout out to a new Ice Bowl champion, Geoff Penton, who won the Sub Zero division after 5 playoff holes against last year's champion Geoff 'Rolly' Rowland.

What a great Ice Bowl that was!
Good times at the lawyer too.
Only issue is that I was left with like 200+ ice bucks after
its was over cuz Simon kept out bidding me.

Great IB again indeed!!
I had a lot of fun, perfect weather, nice course and perfectly run tournament, what more can you ask for!
Ahah, sorry about that Andros, I didn't do it on purpose...okay, maybe a little 
I actually have too many discs as well, but that doesn't seem to keep me from buying more every now and then hehe. |
