I keep forgetting to mention that this tournament is an ODSA regional qualifier event.
Winners of scoring divisions are to receive a pass to the 2017 ODSA Provincial tournament.
Details can be found here;
http://www.discgolfontario.com/forum/index.php/topic,2764.0.html
There is also an ODGC Club pass given out in addition;

I added a few new rules for this year;
Quote: | Plaid Jacket Rules 2016 Edition
The Canadian Golf and Country Club has once again been kind enough to let us all enjoy the Plaid Jacket at their facility.
There are a few special rules in place to ensure that we are welcomed back to this amazing golf course.
Please respect them at all times.
House Rules:
No Food or drink brought into the country club.
No Cleats.
No Pets.
No Music on the course.
Sand traps are to be avoided, but raked if entered.
Greens are O.B. and to be avoided. (Do not throw overhand or spike hyzers around the greens)
Water Traps are O.B. Your disc can be retrieved without entering the water.
Disc marks must be replaced.
Carts are to stay on the cart path or driven 90 degree across the fairways.
Frost Unfortunately if there is frost on the ground the morning of
the Plaid we are not able to be on the course at all until the frost is gone.
This means no walking the course or warming up on the grass. This is very important; walking on the grass will damage it.
This may mean starting time will be delayed in cause of frost. |

As we enter the week of the Plaid I'd like to communicate that if there are any allergies or dietary concerns for the lunch platter (which is typically sandwiches and salads) to let me know so that I can let the staff at the Canadian know.
As of writing this I have the following on my list;
- Don Lane
- Jason King
- Chris Bourne _________________ Hyzer enthusiast |

2 more signups: Dylan McDonald and Josh Lavoie (Both 10 years old).
I'm trying to get another of his friends to come along too. |

Well after some wrangling and minor threats of violence, I got Sunday off of work so I'll be able to play. I'm really no more than glorified Am3 player, but I told Jason King he could kick my ass, so I'd best play Am2.
Thanks

Daredevil Discs will be sponsoring The Plaid for a second year by donating Plaid stamped Daredevil discs for the players' packs.
You may have heard that Daredevil is working on a new high speed driver. We were hoping it would be ready for Plaid Sunday, but it still requires a few tweeks. So because of this, all Plaid participants will be given the opportunity to purchase the new disc at a heavily discounted price when it does arrive.
I will have a few prototypes at The Plaid for players to launch. |
