|
|
Again the ODGC has 5 club spots to award to club members again this year.
The events that have been allocated spots are:
The Goat - 1
Outaouais Open - 1
Ettyville Ontario Cup #12 Aug 26
Plaid Jacket - 1
LNF - best adjusted score
- A spot must be won in a competitive format, either best score, or best handycap adjusted score (TDs discretion)
- TDs are responsible for providing a ranked list of players after the tournament (either best score or adjusted core) to the ODGC BOD (or publish results on the forum).
- the spot will go to the highest ranked player in the particular tournament that hasn't already won a ODSA spot through other means. If the highest ranking player declines the spot, it goes to the next player on the list etc
- spots can only go to a current ODGC member
- The spots will be awarded in order that tournaments were played, Goat 1st etc
- spots will be awarded after all the ODSA qualifier tournaments have happened (ie some time in the fall of 2017)

The results link for the Outaouais Open were pre-posted on the day of the tournament on July 22nd, but for convenience, here is the link to the PDGA page for the event:
http://www.pdga.com/tour/event/30657
MPO played Long-Long, while all other divisions played Short-Long, so in the most difficult division, MPO, Eric Vinet would win an MPO spot from the OO in my opinion.
Congrats Eric ! _________________ "If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody is not thinking." - Gen. George S. Patton Jr. |

Plaid Jacket - 1
TBD - 1 (most likely plaid or falling colors)
|
Seeing as the Plaid already has a club qualifier spot it should probably go to Falling Colors. _________________ Hyzer enthusiast |

Its OK to have more than one spot. Most likely falling colors will get the TBD spot. |

So I guess I earned a spot to provincials after all.
BTW, is there any update to the trophies that Darco and I earned at LNF? _________________ "If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody is not thinking." - Gen. George S. Patton Jr. |

Good news Don, see you at Provincials I hope.
I got a Dollar Store racing cup on site from Kaufmann, I already thought that was pretty good. Is there more?? |

The dollar store trophies were supposed to be a stop gap measure until Mark A got the official ones prepared, but I think he is in reno-mode at his place now and seems to be rather busy. _________________ "If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody is not thinking." - Gen. George S. Patton Jr. |

The winners are TBD. The reason is the ODSA still hasn't published the complete list of qualifiers for the 2017 season. Club spots go to players not on the list. |

Can you please send in the balance of our club's qualifiers to the ODSA?
Thanks. _________________ "If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody is not thinking." - Gen. George S. Patton Jr. |

A link would be great. (I've looked) |

Hi Everyone,
I'm just trying to clean up the 2017 club spots. I believe these are good for 2018 provincials.
A number of Ottawa folk already have, these players are not eligible to win club spots.
So far I have:
Goat spot - Mike McCormick
OO spot - Kyle Fisher
ESS spot - TBD
Plaid spot - Colin McDonald
LNF spot - Don Lane
There are some TBDs - Most Ottawa players are not very interested in this years provincials. However if you are interested and have a score at the plaid or ESS let me know. If you don't say anything I will assume you decline.
The key for the results below is:
HS = has spot
