He's serious, as are the conditions forecasted for Saturday.
I personally support his and anyone else's decision to withdraw if it's outside of his/her comfort zone.
But alas the show must go on. _________________ Hyzer enthusiast |

Discs have been purchased, so if you aren't going to brave (and I use that term very loosely) the coldest conditions ever in Ottawa during February month, maybe you might need a new Timberwolf or Polar Bear? All the proceeds go the charity. |

As long as you have no exposed skin and lots of layers you will be toasty warm all day. I remember a past icebowl where temperatures were this cold and it was a blast. At least the snow is not waist deep and we have a warm place to sit between rounds. If you are unable to play but still want to hang out, we need a photographer to document this craziness.
Again, I promise you will not regret bringing ski goggles, a sled for your bag, thermos of warm liquid and your warm smile for your card mates. I also recommend not bringing too many discs and grippers will save you strokes. Having an extra pair of gloves in your sled and heaters will also go a long way.
The cars on Blair road will wonder as they drive past in their heated comfort. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |

Minus 37 at tee off is what is forecasted with a 20km wind. No exposed skin people. This is not a preference thing.
Strap a thermometer to your bag for pictures if you have one. This WILL be interesting. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |

It's the windchill that matters on exposed skin. With no exposed skin it will be a walk in the park. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |
