Ottawa's Ice League continues this weekend
Sat. Jan. 3rd, 2015 at Jacques Cartier Park.
THINGS TO KNOW:
Here it is the Jewel in the crown of the Ottawa ice league. We will be playing the classic North side Triple crown. 27 holes of red, blue and yellow tees. I will be out there at 10:30 setting up. Registration will start at 11:30. Tee off at 12:00. Please show up on time. This event is usually very well attended and it will make my life easier if there are not a lot of stragglers at noon.
Park on the side streets near the north side. The parking lots of the park will be closed

That's most likely the other part of JCP near the marina.
The weather is calling for snow so ribbons are strongly suggested for Saturday. _________________ "Terry believes in having a clear topic sentence."

Weather Underground is calling for the snow to start up ~4.
Playing the Triple Crown on grass, with baskets. Great start to 2015. |

If the following Ottawa discgolfers show up to JCP on Saturday, Daredevil has both a Sabertooth and a Mammoth to thank them for their support in Ben-e's inaugural (VM+A+JC)/P:
Mike Adams
Aaron James
Serge Seguin
Jeff Lariviere
Ben Svetkoff
Rob Hale
The Sabertooth and the Mammoth are the newest discs to the Daredevil line. The Mammoth comes in the white Flex Performance plastic and the Sabertooth is in the yellow High Performance plastic.
Both are overstable drivers, designed to fight the wind. The Sabertooth consistently travels 20-30 feet farther than the Mammoth. The Mammoth has more of a turn, allowing for some sweet flick S-turns, and both have a hard finish.
When compared to a Star Firebird, the Sabertooth flies the same distance, but with a more hyzer feel to the throw. Thrown RHBH, the Firebird will glide/land 10-15' more to the left.
I also have Ogopogos for the following:
Holly
Phillips
Rico
Leppy
Kid
Pytel
Beny-b (Montreal) |

(The Ogopogo (and Buffalo) has a different nose than the Mammoth and Sabertooth, which share the same profile) |

Man that was fun . Much Thanks to Ben et al who set it up. What did we have? 20 players?
And our timing was perfect. Another hour and discs would have been disappearing in the storm _________________ meh |
