I'll be in Ottawa for a week, visiting from Calgary, starting on Monday.
What courses should I play?
Anyone available to play? I'm available pretty much anytime all week.
I'll have my baby girl with me so something stroller navigable with a little effort would be fine even if not fully stroller friendly. Hills are fine. A challenging course would be great. It's not too long till nats in Kamloops. |

I would first say you should play Camp Fortune, but it is not baby girl nor stroller friendly.
Here's a link to some of the course info.
Kanata (9 holes 2 pads) is very stroller friendly, but is not a challenging course.
There are a couple of private courses in the area that could accomodate a stroller. Ettyville is a big arm course and a good challenge. The Shire is a more technical backyard course and has the best disc golf store in the country on site.
Posting in the Discussion forum is a good way to find card mates.
I started playing DG at Pearce Estates, in Calgary. Fun course.
Welcome to Ottawa, Mark. |

If you want to try Camp Fortune without your kid I will be heading up both Sat and Sun morning at around 6am. Back in town for 9am. I have young kids as well but have never brought them up there because of roll aways. It is possible that you could pick and choose some holes to play with your kid at CF but most holes are on steep hills. Next weekend will be the ODGC family weekend "Disc Golf in the park" at Hogs Back.

This would be an ideal outing, if you are still in town. |

Thanks for the input guys.
It looks like I'll only have Tuesday through Thursday to play...arrive late Monday and leave on Friday.
Who would I contact about Ettyville and The Shire? I can't pass up looking in a store.
I'll probably hit Kanata once or twice I guess.
Again, if anyone wants to play a round let me know. |

Can I force a stroller around the Shire?
Are people playing at 4?
Or is a main round played later?
Sorry for all the questions just trying to see if I can plan this out. |

Definitely stroller capable. Especially if your stroller has big wheels. I can be there at 4 if you'd like a game. I could also meet u tmrw at kanata anytime before noon if you'd like to play there. PM me. |
