FALLING COLOURS - September 17, 2011 - Camp Fortune
10 am Tee-Time
$15.00 for current ODGC members (+ $5 non ODGC member, + $8 non ODSA member).
It'll be two rounds of eighteen holes. 1st round 1 division (from shorts). 2nd round cards determined by 1st round scores, playing for prizes by card (from longs).

We will hold registration at the picnic table on 14 tee (change due to a wedding). For parking, when going down the road there is a dirt parking lot by the lift at 18 tee, turn in there.
Registration at 09:30. Players meeting 09:45.
Lunch is NOT provided. There is no players pack.
$3 per person goes to ODGC ($8 for non ODGC members). All subsequent $$ (if any) after prizes (winners, ctps) will go to the ODGC.

Falling Colours is going to stay with its September date. Originally the idea was to try and hold the tournament the 1st weekend in October. Last year we moved to accommodate the Plaid Jacket. Moving Falling Colours later in October will cause congestion (Plaid, Thanksgiving, LNF plus CF takedown) in years where there are only 4 weekends in October (which are most years). By keeping Falling Colours the 2nd last weekend in September (the last traditionally being OD Tour), it will also assist in spreading local tournaments out.

| Very sorry to miss Falling Colours this year but my sister is getting married that day. Well organized and fun tournament for anyone wondering if they should attend. Highly reccomended! |

I was blown away by how well Fortune played yesterday. It has been 4 weeks atleast. It is amazing going from flat parks to the mountain. I am so jealous of people who get to play there regularly. With the improvements this summer, Falling Colours will be the best it has ever been. Can't wait.
Now back to those flat parks to prepare. |

| Add two more to the list of players, my friend Alex and myself (Danny) are both going to be there. We are both from Peterborough and new to Ottawa so Camp Fortune is quite a challenge for us, we are looking forward to it. |
